Our Mission: Connecting You to Your Technology Resources

Who We Are

The Student Technology Council (STC) is a student-run advocacy group that advises the campus Chief Information Officer on student tech issues. The STC partners with the ASUC, GA, and student led organizations on campus to drive the change students want.

There are ten student members of the STC, including two ex-officio members appointed by the ASUC and the Graduate Assembly and one ex-officio member from Student Affairs IT - Student Technology Services. Associate Vice Chancellor and CIO Larry Conrad, is also an ex-officio member. Anne Marie Richard, Director of Student Affairs IT - Student Technologies, is the Staff Consultant for the STC.

STC provides student representation to several major campus IT committees: IT Architecture and Infrastructure Committee (ITAIC), Student Information Systems (SIS) Project, Educational Technology Services User Advisory Group, and Student Tech Fund Committee.
