The Student Learning Center (SLC) supports a global community of learners as they transition into the academic and cultural environment of UC Berkeley. It offers adjunct classes to popular courses, review sessions, drop-in tutoring, and much more.
The Undergraduate Research Apprentice Program (URAP) is designed to involve Berkeley undergraduates more deeply in the research life of the University. The Program provides opportunities to work with faculty on the cutting edge research projects for which Berkeley is world-renowned. Working closely with faculty, students will deepen their knowledge and skills in areas of special interest, while experiencing what it means to be part of an intellectual community engaged in research.
The Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation is UC Berkeley’s interdisciplinary hub for learning and making at the intersection of design and technology. The Jacobs Institute’s programs provide numerous ways to dive into design innovation including hands-on, design-infused courses, community and co-curricular offerings, from speaker series to workshops, and much more.
